    As a **Security Officer - Access Control Aerospace** in **Mukilteo, WA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.     What You'll Do:

    + Monitor and control access to restricted areas within an aerospace and defense location, verifying credentials and permissions of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

    + Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site-specific procedures and security-related inquiries.

    + Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

    + Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or breaches of protocol to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.

    + Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to support the overall security-related operations of the location.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
