Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. In this role, you will ensure inventory accuracy, manage purchase orders, and provide essential support to the overall inventory process. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the cosmetics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and reconcile invoices to ensure accurate inventory records.

• Monitor purchase orders, ensuring inventory is tracked and accounted for.

• Maintain precise asset inventory by updating records and identifying discrepancies.

• Organize and move inventory items efficiently to support operational needs.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and improve accuracy.

• Conduct routine checks to confirm inventory levels align with system records.

• Assist with general inventory management tasks to enhance workflow.

• Provide timely updates and reports regarding inventory status to relevant stakeholders.

• Support the team in handling and organizing physical stock.

• Uphold compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory handling. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.

• Proficiency in managing purchase orders and asset inventory.

• Effective organizational skills to handle physical inventory and records.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with inventory systems and software is a plus.

• Strong communication skills for reporting and coordination.
