    Description

    A reputable, local mid-sized company in Santa Clara is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join their accounting team starting mid-January. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates eager to launch their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience within a collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records

    + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

    + Reconcile bank statements and company accounts

    + Prepare and review invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders

    + Support month-end and year-end close processes

    + Maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic files

    + Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

    + Recent college graduate or up to one year of relevant internship/experience preferred

    + Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills

    + Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
