    *This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion on the Scripps Memorial Campus in La Jolla.*

    *As the Clinical RN for Diabetes and Endocrinology, your duties will include:*

    * ~40% direct patient care - daily nurse visits for injection and CGM placements and education, & ~60% phones and in-basket management.

    * Performing patient assessments, care tasks, and medication administration as appropriate.

    * Assisting glucose monitoring education for diabetic patients.

    * Educate patients and document patient interactions while practicing infection control.

    * Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.

    *Required Qualifications:*

    * CA RN license

    * BLS through the American Heart Association

    * ADN or Nursing Diploma

    *Preferred Qualifications:*

    * One year outpatient RN experience

    * Diabetes education

    * 1-2 years RN experience
