We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting operations, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and maintain contract compliance. This role plays a critical part in supporting multiple departments by implementing strong internal controls and providing timely financial insights.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
+ Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with contracts.
+ Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, ensuring accurate invoicing and bank reconciliations.
+ Complete month-end procedures, including journal entries and general ledger management.
+ Generate and review financial statements, ensuring data integrity.
+ Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
+ Strong bookkeeping skills with experience in QuickBooks.
+ Ability to perform bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.
+ Experience in journal entry and general ledger management.
+ Competency in financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
+ Effective data entry and customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience.
+ Experience working with Excel.
+ Preferred bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
+ Preferred bilingual abilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77044.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
