Job Description
Who will you be working with?
You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner at our Thermal Transfer Group business unit. You’ll work alongside other Welders and Operators and partner with professionals across multiple departments.
How will you make a difference?
As a Welder, you will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to assemble a wide variety of products. You will be responsible for the quality of your work, and meeting production standards. You will continually look for ways to improve our production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day.
_You will_ _:_
+ Use all company owned methods of operating machinery, i.e., forklifts/trucks, jib cranes, overhead cranes, etc., and must be willing to train and adapt to new systems.
+ Perform as an Operator/Laborer as needed and can transition in and out of various positions as required by the company.
+ Use hand tools such as grinders, sanders, etc.
+ Follow and adheres to all safety rules and topics. Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
_Work Schedule_ _:_
Must be able to work multiple shifts if needed.
+ Day Shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday
+ Second Shift: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday afternoon thru Friday morning
What do we want to know about you?
Do you have the following required skills and education:
+ The welder must be able to perform the qualified welds with a high degree of quality and efficiency on TTC products.
+ TIG and GMAW short arc experience is required.
+ Stainless steel welding experience a plus.
+ Must successfully complete the required welding test, specific to type, material and position which allows the welder to be qualified within the TTC quality system.
+ Must be a team player.
+ Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
+ Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Must be able to read and correctly interpret blueprints.
+ Must be able to maintain attendance as defined by the company policy.
+ High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
+ Trade school certificate or related equivalent preferred.
+ Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Physical Demands and Requirements for this position are:
+ Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Position requires frequent standing and repetitive use of hands. Bending over, climbing, reaching overhead, kneeling and pushing/pulling are required occasionally.
The hourly pay range for this role is $23.00 to $28.00** **.
+ The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
