Summary You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (SHIPS) in the Small Craft & Unmanned Division Branch, Waterfront Operations Department of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. Responsibilities You will serve as the Project Manager and act as the business agent MID-ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. You will maintain liaison with customers/ ship's forces, MARMC functional departments and contractors. You will act as funds administrator for the assigned availability and contracts. You will coordinate planning and estimating, design specification preparation and scheduling. You will lead conferences and represent MARMC at all conferences pertaining to the assigned availability and contracts. You will manage ship repair job orders and contracts, resolve problems and recommend corrective actions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing ship repair job orders and contracts by progressing and monitoring contract administration and procurement regulations. Experience acting as funds administrator for contracts of ships and small boats. Experience planning, estimating, scheduling, expediting labor, machines, and materials in an industrial environment. Experience leading project management teams established for coordination of sea trials.
