**Cognizant’s Digital Engineering** practice is seeking a highly qualified **GenAI Solution Architect** with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. **Location** : Chicago, IL

Responsibilities

•Requirement Analysis: Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and solution designs.

•Solution Design: Develop architectural blueprints, define system structure, behavior, and features, and choose the best technologies.

•Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, provide technical direction, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.

•Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison, explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders and presenting solutions.

•Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical and project risks, designing for security, disaster recovery, and scalability.

•System Integration: Ensure new solutions integrate seamlessly with existing hardware, software, and networks.

•Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, design decisions, and workflows.

•Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the solution from concept through deployment and beyond, ensuring alignment with business goals

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/IT

•15+ years of IT experience (design and development), deep technical skills in (Azure, Java, Python, GenAI) & architecture patterns

•Experience in design and implementation of GenAI solutions is a must

•Problem-solving, business process analysis, data-driven decision making

•Stakeholder management, negotiation, translating business needs to tech solutions.
