    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based San Jose, CA

     

    Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

     

    Pay Rate: $80 per hour

     

    Duration: ASAP – End of 2025–2026 School Year

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school setting. The SLP will be responsible for conducting student evaluations, delivering therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform comprehensive evaluations for students.

    + Provide speech and language therapy services as outlined in the plan of care.

    + Document all services accurately and timely.

    + Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California.

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required by state or contract.

    + Compliance with all professional standards of practice.

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable).

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + Credential: FMSD California credentialed SLP role.
