    About the Role

     

    Amergis is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist tojoin our team in a hybrid role supporting students across the district. Schoolpsychologists play a dynamic role in schools, balancing assessment, counseling,and collaboration to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.Daily responsibilities include evaluating students for learning or behavioralchallenges, providing individual or group counseling, designing and monitoringintervention plans, and consulting with teachers and parents to improveclassroom strategies. You will also respond to crises, promote mental healthawareness, and help create safe, supportive learning environments.

    Day-to-Day Duties

    + Conduct evaluations for learning and behavioral challenges

    + Provide individual and group counseling

    + Design and monitor intervention plans

    + Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff

    + Respond to crises and promote mental health awareness

    + Support safe and inclusive learning environments

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist

    + Compliance with all professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
