Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – $42/hr – Waco, TX – Full-Time (In-Person)

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support speech and language services for students in K–12 settings. This role includes assisting with therapy plans, providing direct services, and maintaining documentation under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Waco, TX

+ Start Date: January 5th, 2026

+ End Date: May 28, 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM | 37 hrs/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $42/hr | W2 position with full benefits

+ Caseload: 60–70 students

+ Support: Virtual SLP oversight

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in implementing therapy plans under SLP supervision

+ Provide direct speech and language therapy services

+ Conduct screenings and assessments as directed

+ Maintain documentation and progress notes

+ Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff

+ Participate in team meetings

Requirements:

+ Graduate of SLPA program (Associate’s) or Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders

+ Minimum 100 hours supervised field work

+ Current SLPA certification/licensure in Texas

+ One year of experience preferred

+ TB screening and health clearance

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
