Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based
Start Date: January 20, 2026
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, providing therapy services, and documenting all services in accordance with each student’s plan of care. This role supports middle and high school students across multiple school sites.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive student evaluations.
+ Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs.
+ Document therapy sessions and progress per established guidelines.
+ Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
+ Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Minimum Requirements
+ Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California.
+ One (1) year of prior professional OT experience preferred.
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
Additional Details
+ Grade Levels: Middle and High School.
+ Caseload: Approximately 70–80 students.
+ Setting: In-person.
+ Experience Preferred: School-based OT experience.
+ Certifications Required: CA OT License.
Compensation
+ Local Pay Rate: Up to $68/hour
+ Travel Weekly Pay: $2,835 (contact for adjustments if needed)
