Early Intervention / Early Childhood Special Education Teacher – $52/hr OR $2,300/week Travel Package – Portland, OR – Full-Time (Traveling)

Position Overview:

Amergis is seeking an Early Intervention / Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a full-time assignment supporting children ages 0–5. The teacher will participate as a transdisciplinary team member to complete educational assessments, develop individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), and provide direct instruction and case management services in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Portland, OR (travel between locations within Multnomah County)

+ Start Date: January 12, 2026

+ End Date: End of 2025–2026 school year

+ Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Paid breaks)

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Options:

+ $52/hr for local candidates

+ $2,300/week travel package for candidates living 50+ miles from assignment location

+ Caseload: TBD

+ Duties: Assessment, IFSP development, direct instruction, case management

Minimum Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid Oregon teaching certificate with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement

+ Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening and health clearance

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
