    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage

     

    Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

     

    Setting: Elementary

    Assignment Dates: February – June

    Hours: 37.5 per week

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a qualified Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage during a maternity leave starting in February and running through June.

     

    This SLP position involves working with a caseload of approximately 50 students, delivering high-quality speech and language services in a supportive school environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.

    + Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.

    + Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.

    + Ensure compliance with district and state regulations for speech services.

    Education

    + California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

    + Experience working in a school setting preferred.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively.
