    Purpose

     

    Provide technical and commercial procurement support to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to conduct supplier qualification, manage performance, and execute purchasing activities. Contribute to reliable supply chain operations that support project and organizational objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Leadership and Direction

    + Receive general direction for key procurement objectives and work independently to execute purchasing tasks.

    + Support internal teams by providing accurate procurement information, supplier insights, and commercial guidance.

    + Promote effective communication and collaboration between project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

    At the Operational and Company Level

    + Maintain strong working relationships with existing vendors and suppliers to ensure performance reliability and alignment with company expectations.

    + Conduct supplier performance measurement and support oversight activities to ensure ongoing compliance with quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

    + Facilitate technical and commercial clarifications between suppliers and internal stakeholders.

    + Monitor and communicate changes to order cost, scope, or schedule to ensure all impacts are clearly understood and documented.

    Do the Work

    + Execute purchasing activities including preparing Supplier Qualifications, Bid Lists, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Bid Evaluations, Purchase Recommendations, and Purchase Orders.

    + Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to secure the most favorable outcomes for the company.

    + Coordinate supplier activities such as source inspections, documentation submittals, and delivery progress updates.

    + Track purchases and maintain procurement records to ensure traceability and compliance with internal processes.

    + Support forecasting efforts by providing procurement timelines, market information, and supplier capacity insights.

    + Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities, performance, and alignment with company requirements.

    + Ensure clear communication of order changes and updates to relevant internal and external parties.

    + Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.

    + On-time procurement of materials and services aligned with project schedules.

    + Favorable purchasing terms achieved through effective negotiation and supplier management.

    + Accurate and timely preparation of procurement documentation and purchase orders.

    + Strong supplier performance as evidenced by quality, delivery, and responsiveness.

    + Effective communication of procurement status, changes, and risks to stakeholders.

    + Compliance with procurement policies, standards, and documentation requirements.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

    + 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.

    + Proficient in procurement processes, commercial evaluations, and supplier management.

    + Strong computer skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.

    + Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities.
