The Pre-K Elementary Long term Substitute will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of Pre-K students during a critical stage in their educational journey. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong instructional skills, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

DUTIES INCLUDED, BUT LIMITED TO:

+ Plan and deliver an instructional program based on NYS Prekindergarten Learning Standards.

+ Design "interdisciplinary learning experiences" that stimulate inquiry and participation.

+ Collaborate with families and Initiate regular, meaningful communication in various forms.

+ Implementing classroom management strategies that promote self-regulation, responsibility, and positive behavior.

+ Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress, and prepare required reports and documentation.

+ Participate in professional learning opportunities to stay current with best practices in elementary education and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

+ Contribute to a positive school culture by working collaboratively with colleagues and participating in school-wide initiatives and events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Valid NYS Early Childhood Education Certification required
