Job Summary:

The Fueling Station Assistant for Exos, is responsible for the daily cleanliness, stocking to par levels, and producing smoothies in accordance with Exos Fueling Station recipe standards. This individual must continually strive to improve their own, and all fellow staff members, knowledge and performance to ensure a world-class experience for athletes, clients, and employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to Day Kitchen Operations:

+ Support all fueling station operation functions

+ Follow Exos recipe standards

+ Ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company, state, and city standards and health code regulations

+ Maintain equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, dish washer, blenders, etc.

+ Perform other duties as directed by Fueling Station Manager and Site General Manager.

+ Reports directly to the Fueling Station Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Supervise, support and develop the fueling station staff in the execution of their job responsibilities based on the Exos Nutrition & Culinary Principles

+ Training of all staff in daily kitchen duties, food safety/sanitation practices, all small/large equipment, and customer service and satisfaction

+ Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline all employees in the department.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Represent the business with the highest level of professionalism and energy

+ Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.

+ Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality.

+ Ability to come to work regularly and on time, to follow directions, to take criticism, to get along with co-workers and supervisors, to treat co-workers, supervisors and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and to refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

+ Strong leadership with 1-3 years as a smoothie bar attendant, barista, or other restaurant food handling restaurant experience.

+ Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in an open retail production atmosphere.

+ Point of Sale experience. Toast knowledge is a plus.

+ Passion for healthy food and healthy living.

+ Flexible schedule. Your work house are based on business needs.

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Commitment to quality service

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Culinary Nutrition degree and background preferred

Skills/Abilities:

+ Excellent customer service a must

+ Strong knowledge of local, state and federal food sanitation regulations a must

+ Self-motivation and ability to work independently

+ Competence in Microsoft office, POS systems
