Job Description

A large client of Insight Global is looking for a Ramp Operations Specialist to assist in leading projects that keep aviation operations moving. This role combines strategy, data analysis, and problem-solving across ramp operations, regulatory compliance, and global network planning.

Day-to-Day:

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive expansion, develop operating plans, analyze data, and set strategies for global process improvements.

• Implement cost-saving projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize capacity, technology, and staffing for efficiency.

• Manage global network design and lane capacity, provide ramp operations expertise, and support flight expansion initiatives.

• Analyze operational and financial metrics, lead budget planning, and present business cases for funding approvals.

• Introduce new concepts into operations, deliver technical training, and research emerging technologies and methodologies.

• Develop project plans, maintain regulatory compliance, and act as liaison between operations and corporate teams.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 8 years of relevant experience in project management, operations, or aviation.

• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

• Expertise in operational and financial planning.

• Ability to manage suppliers and ensure compliance.

• Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Comfortable with travel (25%). • Power BI and SQL proficiency.

• FAA certification.

• Cargo and ramp operations experience.

• Network planning or airline network background.
