Job Description
A is a growing residential smart home and A/V integration client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Low Voltage / A/V Technician to join the team. The company specializes in high-end home theater, automation, and control systems. We’re looking for an experienced Low Voltage / A/V Technician who can take ownership of projects and deliver clean, reliable systems from start to finish.
Day to Day:
• Install, wire, and troubleshoot residential A/V and home theater systems
• Build and dress A/V and network racks to professional standards
• Mount TVs, speakers, cameras, keypads, and other smart devices
• Manage projects from rough-in through final commissioning and client handoff
• Take over active projects and drive them to completion on schedule
• Program and commission Control4, Lutron, and Crestron systems
• Ensure systems are clean, reliable, labeled, and easy for clients to use
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and internal teams

Skills and Requirements
• 3+ years experience in low voltage, home theater, or residential A/V
• Strong skills in rack building, wiring, and system troubleshooting
• Proven ability to manage projects independently
• Experience with Control4 and/or Lutron programming
• Solid understanding of residential networking fundamentals
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders
• Professional, detail-oriented, and client-facing ●Crestron experience
•Control4 or Lutron certification
