    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Equipment Engineer to join a growing team supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Industry. The equipment engineer is responsible for analyzing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to track breakdown frequency, uptime, and production performance, while reporting on micro-stops, breakdown maintenance, and yield to develop improvement plans. They design and review production work orders based on PLCs, implement and test new equipment and technology, and collaborate with other departments to enhance process quality. Documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives are also key parts of the role. This role can pay between 115K-149K based on an evaluation of total relevant YOE and education level.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors Degree in Relevant Engineering Field (Mechanical, Electrical, etc)

     

    7+ Years of experience in equipment engineering in an automated production environment.

     

    Equipment Start Up / Commissioning Experience

     

    Strong Root Cause Analysis and Equipment Troubleshooting Experience

     

    Experience creating and developing Equipment Maintenance Plans

     

    Strong ability to Troubleshoot PLC's PLC Programming

     

    Experience with Vision Inspection Systems
