CNC OPERATOR
HOURS: 2ND SHIFT
WAGE: $23.09/hour + $1.25 shift differential
Job Summary:
SEDONA is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to fabricate metal components to exact specifications. This position is critical in supporting our high-quality production standards and on-time delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other metal machining equipment.
+ Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and securement.
+ Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
+ Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
+ Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
+ Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
+ Accurately complete production logs, quality checks, and other documentation.
+ Work collaboratively with team leads and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 1+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (entry-level positions may be available).
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
+ Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, etc.).
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
