What you'll do...
As a Staff Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. Our team is dedicated to enhancing Walmart’s import item setup by streamlining processes, removing redundancies, and improving system integrations. We focus on delivering a seamless omni-channel experience for suppliers and internal stakeholders. Leveraging expertise in software design, agile development, and architectural solutions, the team drives innovation and efficiency. Collaboration and continuous improvement are central to our approach, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business needs. What you'll do:
+ Analyze and classify requirements to align with business and technical objectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional needs.
+ Design scalable software solutions by applying architectural principles and evaluating trade-offs to meet business goals.
+ Develop, review, and maintain code adhering to established standards, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.
+ Implement automation scripts to streamline continuous integration and delivery processes.
+ Conduct thorough testing and defect analysis to maintain high-quality software releases.
+ Monitor project progress, provide status updates, and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
+ Support application maintenance by analyzing performance metrics and executing corrective actions.
What you'll bring:
+ Proven expertise in software design and architecture, including distributed systems and scalability.
+ Proficiency in Java, Python, and frameworks such as Spring Boot for full stack development.
+ Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
+ Strong knowledge of coding standards, secure coding practices, and CI/CD automation.
+ Ability to analyze requirements, create detailed designs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
+ Familiarity with telemetry, AI/ML inference, and software testing strategies.
+ Demonstrated skills in risk analysis, defect management, and troubleshooting complex software issues.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
