    PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager Transition/Sub Acute Services for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. This is a billable clinician position.

     

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $60.06 – $90.08. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

    Job Summary

    Manages the coordination of the activities of a business unit or department with responsibility for results including costs, methods, and staffing. Responsible for operational performance, quality, service environment and regulatory compliance. Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.Responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight for Acute Crisis/Consult Liaison Team and Sub-Acute Services/Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Services as well as oversight of the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) Social Work Team. This will include, administrative functions related to program development, implementation and outcome measurement; compliance; all phases of budget development, contract management and operational oversight; providing clinical supervision of licensed (QMHP) and non-licensed (QMHA) staff as well as manage the Clinical Supervisor of the BHU; interfacing with hospital services, community and government agencies. Will function as a direct liaison between the service and key stakeholders and government-based patient care partners, community-based managers, Nurse Manager, BHU Program Director, and with all participating departments, agencies and providers to achieve program objectives.

    Details of the position:

    + Manages objectives including goals and strategies for program development, marketing and resource utilization primary to operational sustainability.

    + Responsible for the type and number of personnel required to provide optimum client/patient care within the limits of available resources. Leads in the recruitment, development, evaluation and clinical supervision of professional staff to meet program objectives.

    + Ensures the provision of high quality client/patient care programs and services through skilled and motivated staff, clear and concise standards, appropriate policies and procedures, and quality assurance/risk management activities.

    + Coordinates with Behavioral Health Service Line, Medical Directors, etc. as required to establish and maintain appropriate clinical protocols for the delivery of acute, sub-acute, transition, and first break treatment services.

    + Coordinates all integrated program services and activities as they impact the delivery of care and collaborates effectively with other departments, operating divisions and medical staff to develop and maintain harmonious and productive working relationships.

    + Serves as a liaison to community groups, governmental bodies, referral sources, and payers to develop and maintain appropriate relationships and contracts.

    + Participates in the design, implementation and ongoing management of comprehensive behavioral health system that includes but is not limited to sub-acute wrap around services, intensive outpatient and transition of identified clients from an acute level to sub-acute level of care.

    + Collaborates with the Program Director and the BHU Nurse Manager of the BHU to ensure that PPS Social Work and programming regulatory requirements are met.

    + In partnership with the BHU Program Director and Nurse Manager, accountable to ensure that process and outcomes metric targets related to both the BHU Social Work and programming, and the interdisciplinary team are met.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    What you bring:

    + Master's Degree Required: Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology

    + Minimum of 5 years Required: related experience and

    + Minimum of 2 years Required: leadership experience and

    + Required: Program administration, clinical supervision and leadership experience within last five years

    + Required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Oregon or

    + Required: Licensed Professional Counselor - Oregon or

    + Required: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist-Oregon

    Skills

    + Strong skills/competencies in leadership, needs assessment, program development, project management and organizational alignment. (Required)

    + Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. (Required)

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. (Required)

    + Strong skills in training, time management, stress management, counseling, coaching, mentoring and facilitation. (Required)

    + Proficient use of computer including MS Office applications (Required)
