Schedule:
+ Sat/Sun: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
+ Mon/Tue: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Position Details:
Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening.
About the Role
As an MRI Technologist, you’ll perform routine and specialized MRI procedures, combining technical expertise with compassionate patient interaction to deliver accurate diagnostic information. You’ll work closely with physicians and patients, adapting exams as needed to ensure safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and equip exam rooms for procedures.
+ Organize daily workflow and manage related clerical tasks.
+ Integrate imaging studies, lab results, and patient history for optimal exams.
+ Educate patients before and after procedures.
+ Operate MRI scanners and maintain quality control.
+ Apply ACR safety guidelines for MR practices.
+ Provide training to staff and students as needed.
Qualifications
+ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and/or experience as required for obtaining certification/license/registration as required by State for clinical practice.
+ ARRT certification (Radiography, MRI, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine) or ARMRIT required upon hire. ARRT(MR) certification required within 6 months.
+ Basic Life Support certification required.
+ Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred.
+ Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
+ Demonstrated venipuncture competency
+ Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy
+ Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications
+ PACS/RIS knowledge
