About the Role
The Energy & Sustainability Supervisor is an on‑site role in Beaverton, OR, responsible for leading day‑to‑day execution of E&S programs across the World Headquarters campus and supporting additional sites. The position leads all aspects of the waste management program—including vendor management, haul and route adjustments, audits, trainings, tours, and client‑facing engagement—while ensuring strong data management and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with experience in janitorial or waste vendor coordination and a strong passion for sustainability who can drive operational improvements and support broader energy and environmental initiatives.
What You’ll Do
+ Identifies utility cost‑saving opportunities and chips in to the development and management of utility budgets.
+ Supports the creation of site energy profiles and ensures all related documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
+ Solves operational challenges by determining effective approaches and improving existing processes.
+ Develops new methods or practices that improve team performance and help achieve program objectives.
+ Influences both team‑level and cross‑functional goals through collaboration and program execution.
+ Assists with waste vendor coordination, data collection, and performance tracking.
+ Contributes to Energy & Sustainability education and outreach efforts through trainings, engagement activities, and program support.
+ Demonstrates leadership by modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE’s RISE values and setting a strong example for the team.
What You’ll Need
+ High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
+ Detailed understanding of accounting fundamentals required.
+ In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
+ Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
+ Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mentality.
+ Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
