    CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking anEnvironmental Scientist Ito join ourEnvironmental TeaminAlbany, NY. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, support impactful environmental projects, and grow your expertise in a supportive, innovative environment.

    What You'll Do:

    + Assist with the preparation of environmental plans (SPCC, SPR, and SWPPP), documentation, reporting, and permits for a variety of clients

    + Conduct field work, including field investigations, sampling, drilling oversight, and construction operation assistance

    + Collect, analyze, and report on geological, hydrological, biological, or other scientific conditions at project sites

    + Provide support to senior scientists and/or engineers to evaluate the potential impact of federal, state, and local environmental regulations

    What You Bring:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field required

    + No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred

    + Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required

    + Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective scientific discipline

    + Strong ability to work in a team environment with effective verbal and written communication skills

    + Valid driver’s license required

    + Ability to work in the field under various weather conditions and physically navigate diverse environments

    Salary Range:

    $60,000 - $65,000

     

    Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
