As a member of our team, you are instrumental in fulfilling our mission: 'Enabling Engineering Breakthroughs that Lead to a Better Tomorrow.' Pursuing a career at Parker presents unlimited opportunities for both professional and personal development. Working with some of the most brilliant minds in the industry, your contributions will be pivotal in developing innovative technologies and products, significantly contributing to Parker’s goal of addressing the world’s most pressing engineering challenges. At Parker, our team members belong, matter and make a difference.

    Position Summary

The Revenue FP&A Manager will lead revenue-focused FP&A for our aerospace business with a strong commercial & military orientation. Support weekly and monthly revenue forecasting, pipeline analytics, and price realization across OEM and Aftermarket. Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Program Management, Contracts, and Pricing to drive bookings growth, improve forecast accuracy, and support profitable deals and long-term agreements. Align the demand outlook with SIOP and capacity plans.

    Essential Functions

    Revenue Planning and Forecasting

    • Support the weekly forecast process owned by the FP&A Team; produce weekly, quarterly and full-year outlooks by product line, program and region.

    • Maintain revenue waterfalls (opening backlog, bookings, shipments, slippage, attrition) and drivers (price, mix, volume).

    • Lead AOP top-line planning and scenario modeling (OE vs Aftermarket, Defense vs Commercial, new program ramps, attrition).

    Commercial Finance Business Partnering

    • Support bid/quote reviews: model pricing, discounts, escalation indices, surcharges, and terms (payment, warranty, liquidated damages).

    • Provide decision support to Sales and Program teams on volumes, mix, and profitability; codify approval thresholds and assumptions.

    Pricing, Contracts, and Price Realization

    • Track price realization vs targets; identify margin leakage (discounts, rebates, free-of-charge, mix).

    • Govern price lists (Aftermarket); partner with Pricing/Contracts on compliance, renewals and catalog updates.

    Performance Management and Reporting

    • Publish weekly and monthly KPI packs: bookings, book-to-bill, revenue vs AOP/forecast, price/mix, backlog burn, and forecast accuracy.

    • Deliver concise executive readouts with risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.

    SIOP and Operations Alignment

    • Integrate the demand signal with SIOP; communicate constraints and slippage impacts with Supply Chain/Operations.

    • Support capacity planning inputs for major program ramps and spares/repair seasonality.

    Governance, Controls, and Compliance

    • Ensure revenue policies adhere to ASC 606 (point-in-time vs over-time) and internal controls; partner with Accounting on contract reviews.

    • Maintain standard work, calendar, data quality checks, and audit-ready documentation.

    Leadership and Team Development

    • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team of analysts; establish operating rhythm and continuous improvement.

    • Champion automation and self-serve reporting.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.

    • 8–12+ years in FP&A or Commercial Finance; 7+ years in aerospace/defense or complex industrials.

    • Demonstrated ownership of revenue forecasting, pricing, and commercial deal support; OEM and Aftermarket exposure required.

    • Familiarity with LTAs, escalation/indexation, and program economics.

    • Ability to travel [~10–20%] to operating locations (UK, California, Kentucky) as needed.

    • Advanced Excel modeling; planning tools (SAP FC preferred but not mandatory); Power BI; ERP (SAP); CRM (Salesforce).

    • Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data storytelling; ability to influence cross-functional leaders.

    • Revenue recognition (ASC 606), FAR/DFARS (awareness), ITAR/EAR (awareness).

    • Understanding of SIOP, backlog dynamics, and bookings-to-revenue conversion.

    • Executive communication, stakeholder management, structured problem solving, bias for action, and a continuous improvement mindset.

    • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Revenue forecast accuracy

    • Price realization vs target; discount/margin leakage reduction.

    • Bookings growth, book-to-bill ratio, and pipeline coverage/conversion.

    • Stakeholder satisfaction and cycle-time improvements.
