Advanced Clinical Pharmacist

Position Overview

Seeking an Advanced **Clinical Pharmacist** to support critical care services on a night shift schedule. This role focuses on clinical pharmacy program support, medication safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

**Location** : Lake City, FL

**Schedule:** Nights | 7 on / 7 off | Rotating Weekends

**Hours** : Wednesday–Tuesday | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

**Position Type** : Full-Time

Compensation & Incentives

• Pay Range: $57.74 – $73.04/hour (based on experience)

• **_Shift Differentials:_**

• Nights: +$ 7.50/hr

• Weekends: +$ 3.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and appropriateness

• Adjust medication therapy per policy and patient condition

• Ensure safe medication dispensing and sterile IV preparation (USP 797)

• Support clinical pharmacy initiatives, drug utilization reviews, and monograph development

• Oversee pharmacy distribution and controlled substance processes

• Respond to physician consults and provide evidence-based drug information

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

• Communicate with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with hospital experience or pharmacy residency (hospital experience strongly preferred)

• BS or Pharm.D from an accredited College of Pharmacy

• Active or eligible Florida Pharmacist License

• Board Certification preferred

• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

**Pay Details:** $57.74 to $73.04 per hour
