Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic results while supporting high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
**Location:** Bradenton, FL
**Schedule** : Full-Time | Nights & Evenings (Rotating Weekends)
**Specialty:** Laboratory
**Pay Range** :$27.09 – $37.92/hour(Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
• Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing
• Apply laboratory theory and independent judgment to ensure accurate results
• Maintain competency and licensure in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology
• Perform specimen collection, processing, and referral testing as needed
• Follow established procedures and regulatory standards
• Support department goals related to quality, service, and patient satisfaction
• Work independently during evening and night shifts, covering multiple lab areas
Qualifications
• National Medical Technologist certification (ASCP preferred)
• Florida State Medical Technologist License required (minimum 3 lab areas)
• Associate Degree in Medical Technology required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Minimum 3 years of hospital laboratory experience preferred
• Blood Bank experience strongly preferred
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working alone and covering all lab areas
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

**Pay Details:** $27.09 to $37.92 per hour
