Robert Half is hiring for one of our top clients, for a Workplace Experience Coordinator opportunity onsite in San Jose, CA.
Job Title: Workplace Experience Coordinator
Job Family: Office Soft Services
Pay Rate: $24.81–$25.92/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Duration: 2-month contract
Possibility for Extension: TBD
POSITION SUMMARY
As a CBRE Workplace Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer service experience to employees and guests within a designated facility. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and supports workplace operations, events, vendors, and day-to-day office services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, greeting them with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Issue visitor and parking passes while following security protocols and procedures
• Answer phones professionally and assist with presentations or speaking to groups as needed
• Coordinate recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of internal stakeholders
• Manage janitorial and maintenance work orders and coordinate workplace services
• Support mail services, office supply management, and onboarding activities
• Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers with a customer service–driven approach
• Organize and manage onsite events, including space reservations, room setup/teardown, and supply delivery
• Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures to ensure building safety
• Coordinate with vendors supplying services or goods to the workplace
• Manage calendars, reservations, and scheduling needs
• Follow established procedures to solve routine issues with limited discretion
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong client-facing and customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to follow standard work routines and procedures
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Basic computer proficiency
