    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Revit Drafter to join our growing team at a leading Modular Construction company based in Indiana. This role involves working in a flat organizational structure where you will have the opportunity to manage your own projects from conception to completion, with support available from experienced engineering managers as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Create comprehensive plan sets for commercial modular construction for customer and state approval in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

    + Utilize Revit for 99% of design work to produce accurate construction documents.

    + Interact professionally with customers, co-workers, and state agencies to ensure smooth project execution.

    + Assist with shop drawings review and provide support during the construction phase.

    + Apply ICC Building code knowledge to guarantee all designs meet regulatory standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit for drawing and design purposes.

    + Ability to manage documentation using Excel.

    + Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in the construction industry, particularly in design, BIM, or hands-on roles.

    + Understanding of building construction processes and assembly.

    Work Environment

    The work schedule is Monday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to start earlier or work overtime as needed. The office setting is a collaborative environment with cubicles and offices housing the engineering, finance, and upper management teams. Employees have the opportunity to visit the shop floor to engage directly with production teams.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Whitley, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
