    Job Description

    Join our team as a professional and experienced Medical Assistant in Irving, working in a specialty doctor’s office. This role requires you to support a physician who demands fast and efficient service, along with a high level of professionalism. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms.

    + Schedule appointments and manage prior authorizations.

    + Assist with patient check-in and check-out, as well as referral processes.

    + Perform phone work with patients, including appointment reminders and pre/post-operative care instructions.

    + Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.

    + Assist physicians with phone work and preparation for exams and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in medical terminology and health care procedures.

    + Experience with EMR systems

    + Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.

    + 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a front office role.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic setting.

    + Experience with vital signs, patient care, and rooming patients.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
