    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Winter Garden, FL. This contract position with the potential for permanent placement offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a growing organization. The ideal candidate will excel in processing invoices and managing accounts payable tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process a high volume of invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.

    • Match subcontractor payroll data between Workday and Microsoft Excel to maintain consistency.

    • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate.

    • Handle coding and processing of invoices with precision.

    • Assist in maintaining financial records and documentation in QuickBooks Online.

    • Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies or inquiries.

    • Support additional accounting tasks as required to meet organizational goals.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all financial processes.

    • Provide regular updates and reports on accounts payable activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

    • Proficiency in coding and processing invoices with attention to detail.

    • Skilled in using QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

    • Ability to manage a high volume of invoices efficiently.

    • Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    • Effective communication skills to work across departments.

    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
