    Outreach & Admissions/Career Transition Services Specialist (OA/CTS Specialist)

    Role Overview

     

    As an OA/CTS Specialist, you will play a critical role in recruiting qualified individuals, coordinating their arrival, and guiding them through transitional support services that set them on a path to success. Your work will involve close collaboration with community partners and hands-on support for students as they navigate their educational and career aspirations. Confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy in handling student data are paramount in this role.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Maintain strict adherence to integrity guidelines, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

    + Support educational and job placement goals for assigned students to meet or exceed performance targets.

    + Build and sustain relationships with community agencies, employment services, schools, and training programs to attract prospective students and support their transition to Job Corps.

    + Conduct thorough eligibility screenings, including reviewing behavioral, medical, and educational records for applicants.

    + Lead Center tours, pre-arrival visits, and meetings to engage and inform prospective students.

    + Provide personalized career counseling, monitor student performance, and develop tailored transition plans.

    + Demonstrate effective supervision, mentorship, and positive influence over the student population, encouraging accountability and respectful behavior.

    + Continuously evaluate and improve programs and services to meet student needs and enhance overall quality.

    + Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders, contributing valuable insights and timely information for assessments and audits.

    + Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure cohesive support and supervision of students.

    + Accept direction and undertake additional duties as assigned by leadership.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or a closely related field; or Associate’s degree in these fields plus two years of relevant experience.

    + Valid in-state driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance requirements.

    + Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

    + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

    + Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently.
