Job Title: Network Engineer IIIJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Network Engineer to join our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network engineering and design, with a focus on maintaining security and solving complex problems using innovative solutions. This role requires a bachelor's degree in network engineering or equivalent experience, along with an active secret clearance. Experience working in a national security 'no-fail' mission is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze customer requirements and solve unusually complex problems with highly innovative solutions.
+ Provide expert knowledge for maintenance and upgrade of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and telecom equipment.
+ Ensure network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining system backup and recovery capability.
+ Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach, organizing means to achieve solutions for complex technical problems.
+ Develop advanced engineering ideas and guide their development into final products.
+ Develop advanced solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems.
+ Perform highly advanced network/systems design, development, and integration from the start of a project life cycle to the end.
+ Provide and apply advanced engineering to highly complex infrastructures, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining network devices, telecom equipment, radio equipment, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in network engineering or five plus (5+) years of related experience.
+ Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
+ Expert knowledge in the maintenance and upgrade of networks, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and telecom equipment.
+ Experience in developing and/or sustaining national security 'no-fail' mission systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Networking and Security+ certifications.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
+ Experience with sustaining PARCS or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as PAVE PAWS.
+ Understanding of Agile Waterfall Sprints, Cameo, Doors, Solid Works, and technical drafts review.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
