Job Title: General Utility Worker** **Job Description

This opportunity is located at the East Facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Candidates will rotate through four key areas: sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making.

Responsibilities

+ Sanitation/Pack-Off: Dispose of extra materials not in use, break down and dispose of incoming packages and labels, separate trash into trash, cardboard, and plastic, and spray machines and containers with disinfectant.

+ Packer: Assist with preparing machine start-ups and disassembly for sanitation, place bags of finished goods into boxes, visually inspect finished goods for defects, and complete necessary paperwork.

+ Palletizer: Visually inspect cases for proper sealing and labeling, operate pallet jack to move finished pallets, assemble and disassemble machinery for sanitation, document findings, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ Box Maker: Maintain boxes and labels for production lines, ensure labeling matches spec sheet and boxes are free of damage, document movement of finished and raw materials, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general production, packaging, and inspection.

+ Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs continuously throughout a 10-hour shift.

+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

+ At least 1 year of work history.

After 1 year, advancement to Level 2 or 3 is possible. Employees receive a 2.5% annual increase on January 1st. The position offers competitive weekly earnings with overtime pay for shifts extending beyond 8 hours.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, from 5:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with most Saturdays included. Candidates work 50+ hours a week, capped at 60 hours. The work takes place in a GMP food production environment, requiring the wearing of an overcoat, gloves, hardhat, earplugs, safety glasses, and knee-high non-slip rubber boots. The production floor is refrigerated, maintaining a temperature of 30-40 degrees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
