Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

As a Field Technician, you will visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors. This role involves light low voltage work, similar to fire alarm installations, using CAT 5 cabling. You will not work in residential areas but will serve a variety of clients including restaurants and gas stations.

Responsibilities

+ Visit customer sites to install CO2 monitors.

+ Perform installations using CAT 5 cabling.

+ Ensure compliance with new CO2 regulations.

+ Document site visits and installations.

+ Provide daily reports and mileage documentation for reimbursement.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Willingness to learn new skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to interpret wiring schematics.

+ Experience in facilities maintenance.

+ Strong communication skills and independence.

Enjoy flexibility with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts, contingent on meeting quotas. Work independently, set your own schedule after training, and receive mileage reimbursement at 40 cents per mile.

Work Environment

Work independently in a non-residential environment, visiting various client sites. Afterward, you will independently manage a client list, planning visits based on client availability and needs. Document all activities and mileage for reimbursement. The job offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to manage your own time and workload.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
