    Job Title: Pipefitter/Welder** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a Pipefitter/Welder, where you will engage in both new construction and renovation projects in the Fort Myers/Naples area. Your expertise in commercial pipefitting and welding will be integral to our success in delivering quality projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Plan and execute the installation or repair of piping systems, including cutting, threading, and bending pipes.

    + Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair various types of pipe systems.

    + Mount hangers and brackets as needed to ensure secure and stable piping.

    + Install valves, couplings, and other essential fittings.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience in pipe fitting, welding, and construction.

    + Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience in soldering and brazing carbon steel and copper pipes.

    + Experience with sch. 40 steel pipes ranging from 2.5 inches to 8 inches.

    + Ability to read and interpret prints accurately.

    + 6G certification or the ability to pass the 6G weld test.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Possession of OSHA 10 certification.

    + Class 2 hardhat required for work at the RSW airport.

    Work Environment

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
