Job Title: Shipping and Warehouse Operator - 1st shift
Job Description
Join our team as a Shipping and Warehouse Operator, where you will play a crucial role in the shipping process by operating tow motors, handling shipments, and maintaining the warehouse. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and has experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and execute the shipping process according to work instructions and parameter sheets.
+ Operate tow motors to move finished products from the warehouse to the shipping dock.
+ Unload trucks and railcars, placing products in their respective areas.
+ Load trucks and railcars efficiently.
+ Record and report data as required, ensuring accuracy.
+ Process necessary paperwork for shipments to customers.
+ Notify appropriate personnel of received materials.
+ Follow the F.I.F.O. (First In, First Out) process.
+ Maintain the warehouse in an organized manner.
+ Notify management of any safety or quality issues.
+ Perform other duties as requested in accordance with contractual provisions.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
+ Forklift experience within the last 2 years.
+ Ability to assist production if required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in hot work environments such as glass, textile, or automotive factories.
+ Injection molding or plastics experience.
+ Familiarity with fiberglass is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a large Tier 1 automotive client facility with a hot factory environment. Temperatures can exceed 100 degrees if it's 90 degrees outside. All candidates will attend orientation on the first shift for the entire week, which is a bonus if completed by mid-week. The facility offers two breaks and a lunch period per shift. Candidates must be able to work overtime as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH BALTIMORE, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.21 - $18.21/hr.
