Forklift Operator -- up to $24 per hour -- starting asap -- weekly pay!
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced and safe warehouse environment. The successful candidate will operate forklifts to move products, equipment, or materials within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, and the candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards while efficiently managing inventory and assisting in various warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free, keeping precise records of forklift inspections.
+ Maintain and clean the forklift systematically.
+ Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry.
+ Perform manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, including inventory sampling and cleaning.
+ Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
+ During seed delivery and return season, ensure the proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
+ Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years forklift driving experience.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with others.
+ Self-starter with a strong focus on safety and quality.
+ Mechanical aptitude and awareness.
+ Experience with shift work expectations.
+ Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish set goals.
+ Ability to count accurately and read scales.
+ Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
+ Prior forklift certification preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse setting, with shifts from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Employees are required to wear steel-toe over-the-ankle work boots, hi-visibility hard hats, safety vests, and eyewear. The workplace is smoke-free, and the use of mobile devices is restricted to break areas. Regular and reliable attendance is mandatory, and transportation to and from the location is the responsibility of the worker.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
