    Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor who will lead and manage a team, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, accurately, and on time. This role requires proficiency in all supervised job functions, responsibility for team performance, and a commitment to continuous improvement in processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as the work team leader and fill in when team members are absent or as business needs dictate.

    + Ensure all tasks are performed safely, accurately, and on time, being responsible for team performance.

    + Train team members in their functions and ensure they are up-to-date on all regulatory and safety training.

    + Own and document the processes supervised, ensuring they are followed and continually improved.

    + Balance daily workload, adjust employee schedules to minimize overtime and labor costs, and approve vacation requests.

    + Report non-conformance and near misses, often serving as the primary investigator.

    + Collaborate with workers and managers to identify and solve work-related problems, participating in improvement teams.

    + Address or escalate any potential safety, quality, and employee concerns, including injury and accident reporting.

    + Handle personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances, escalating to the Manager when necessary.

    + Coach and counsel employees regularly on work-related activities, personal growth, and job enrichment, and perform quarterly scorecards.

    + Maintain showcase standards, ensuring safety and readiness for warehouse presentation.

    + Conduct safety, quality, or other team meetings, serving on committees as needed.

    + Record defects and lead efforts to eliminate them.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience as a supervisor in a warehouse environment.

    + Proficiency in applicable system programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.

    + Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

    + Ability to relate effectively to all levels of employees and build successful relationships.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
