    This job is a full-time, benefited, FLSA non-exempt position in the Student Affairs Division that reports to the Manager of Dual Enrollment.

     

    Salary : Targeted salary is commensurate with education and experience not to exceed the budgeted amount of $48,880 per year.

     

    Schedule: This is a full-time position. Availability to work Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 5 pm and on Friday between 8 am and 4 pm. Occasional Saturdays and some evenings. Schedule is subject to change. Flexibility is a must.

     

    Minimum Qualifications Job Code 11127

     

    High school diploma or equivalent *and* one (1) year of work-related experience , Microsoft Office Application Professional Certificate*and* one (1) year of related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants who have some or all the following:

    • Minimum one year of direct experience working within a post-secondary Admissions Office.

    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with the Dual Enrollment admissions process.

    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with funding processes – Financial Aid.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with admission to college policies and procedures.

    • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems independently.

    • Demonstrated ability to research and resolve multi-layer student issues.

    • Demonstrated experience using the Banner Document Management Systems, Target X student records management systems, Ellucian Application Navigator, Axiom, and Microsoft Office suite products.

    • Demonstrated experience participating and leading team initiatives.

    Job Description Summary:

    Under general supervision, this position is responsible for managing the admissions processes, policies, and funding for the College’s Dual Enrollment program. This role includes processing student admissions applications and supporting documents, maintaining and updating student files, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of Dual Enrollment funding. The specialist monitors admissions activity, communicates with students, parents, high school counselors, and college staff regarding program requirements, and ensures compliance with institutional and state guidelines. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and data management skills are essential to support the efficiency and success of the Dual Enrollment program.

    Processes all new and returning student admissions applications and supporting documents to ensure timely completion of admissions requirements.
