    Plumbing Mechanic – Special Projects

     

    ColonialWebb is seeking experienced commercial plumber mechanics to join our special projects team in Hampton Roads. Typical projects include commercial construction projects, change-outs, retrofits, installations, etc.

    What you will do:

    + Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of domestic water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes

    + Assist with sheet metal products and ductwork for commercial projects as well as assist with any other tasks needed to complete the project

    What we are looking for:

    + Possess applicable Journeymen or Master’s license (preferred, but not required)

    + Possess Backflow License (preferred, but not required)

    + Possess Med-Gas Certification (preferred, but not required)

    + Completion of applicable trade school (preferred, but not required)

    + Experience with layouts

    + Knowledge of basic construction/shop math

    + Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with co-workers other tradesmen

    + Knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC) and general safety regulations

    + Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen and background check
