SOFTWARE SUPPORT SPECIALISTWe are seeking a Software Support Specialist to provide ongoing software support and to help test the functionality of the Apprenticeship Compliance System family of software applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, thoroughness, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to testing protocols.

PAY & BENEFITS

+ $65,000 to $70,000 per year plus a full benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Participate in the documentation of software functionality and provide availability to key users during new feature rollouts.

+ Serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients for identifying issues and providing training on software use.

+ Build and coordinate proper external-facing documentation for ease of client use.

+ Develop a basic understanding of the underlying compliance regulations that govern the software to further ensure quality.

+ Coordinate with the development team to resolve identified issues.

+ Assist the quality assurance team for performance testing as needed.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ Software support experience required.

+ Customer service or administrative assistant skills and experience required.

+ Must provide a writing sample during the interview process.

+ Experience with testing protocols and documentation best practices.

+ Ability to collaborate and manage tasks across multiple projects, working with various staff members.

+ Additional certifications, collegiate experience, and personal projects will be considered.
