The Department of Drama within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach DRA 090 Theater Lab: New York as a Museum, a one credit hour course as part of the Tepper Semester in New York, during the Spring semester, 2026. This course will meet on Wednesdays 10:00am - 12:00pm January 14, 21, February 4, 18, March 4, March 18, and April 1.
This course is designed to introduce students to the vibrant life and history of New York City through the lens of its cultural institutions—from fine art museums to the Tenement Museum, and from the New-York Historical Society to the Museum of Food and Drink. Students will participate in guided museum tours and will select several institutions to visit independently. For the final class, students will present on their chosen institutions, reflecting on how each contributes to the cultural, historical, and social narrative of New York City.
