About the Role
Garage Doors Plus, LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for performing installation and service work according to customer work orders while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
Complete installation and service work per customer work orders within quoted timeframes and budgets.
Communicate clearly and consistently with Office staff regarding job status, scheduling, and scope changes.
Close jobs in company systems, send quotes when required, and complete daily timesheets with detailed work notes.
Submit all paperwork, payments, and receipts at the end of each workday.
Maintain proper inventory in the work vehicle to complete scheduled and additional service calls.
Keep the company vehicle clean, organized, and in safe working condition; report maintenance needs promptly.
Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws.
Provide professional, respectful service to customers, vendors, and team members.
Emergency Job Expectations
When assigned Direct or Indirect Emergency Jobs, follow established labor, trip, and parts charge guidelines.
Collect full payment owed to Garage Doors Plus, LLC at the time services are rendered.
Coordinate with the Office team for guidance during after-hours or emergency assignments.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
Comfortable working at heights of up to 15 feet.
Ability to work outdoors and drive in all weather conditions.
Physically able to perform repetitive lifting, bending, climbing, and standing throughout the workday.
Scheduling & Timekeeping
Punctual attendance is required.
Time-off requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
Use company systems to check in/out daily and at each job site.
Training, Safety & Professional Standards
Paid training provided.
Willingness to learn and use company apps, systems, and tools.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Company-provided apparel must be worn; professional appearance required.
No use of illegal substances or alcohol while operating company vehicles or working on job sites.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mechanical aptitude or prior technician experience preferred (training provided).
