Job Title:Outpatient Clinician

Job Summary:

TheOutpatient Clinicianprovides comprehensive clinical services to clients served by FLACRA’s outpatient programs. This role involves diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support client recovery and well-being in alignment with FLACRA’s mission, vision, and values.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Human Services with three years of relevant experience.

+ Valid NYS Driver’s License.

+ Qualified Health Professional (QHP) certification required.

Preferred:

+ Master’s Degree in Health/Human Services or related field.

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs, including primary and secondary diagnoses, and determine appropriate treatment modalities.

+ Provide direct therapeutic services, including individual, conjoint, family, and group therapy, tailored to client needs.

+ Manage intake and caseload independently while consulting as needed on complex diagnostic or treatment issues.

+ Actively participate in agency staff meetings, in-service training, and supervisory sessions.

+ Foster positive relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies.

+ Deliver presentations and training programs to community stakeholders as needed.

+ Support clients in developing interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

+ Collaborate with colleagues in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and cooperative behavior.

+ Respond appropriately to crisis situations to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

+ Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with FLACRA, OASAS, and regulatory policies and procedures.

+ Uphold professionalism by providing quality care with respect and dignity, representing FLACRA positively in all interactions.

+ Utilize the outreach board to coordinate client care and meet identified needs.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proven ability to work effectively with culturally diverse individuals, staff, and community service providers.

+ Familiarity with the local behavioral health system and resources.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in crisis situations.

+ Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

+ Skilled in crisis intervention and mobile response services.

+ Comfortable providing services in both community and crisis settings.
