    Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid (as contract allows)

     

    Salary Range: $200,000 – $215,000

     

    Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret / SCI

    Position Summary

    Ataero is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Analyst to provide senior-level analytical, programmatic, and lifecycle support to DoD aviation and Electronic Warfare programs at NSWC Crane . This role supports NAVAIR-aligned portfolios and serves as a trusted advisor to government Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and senior leadership.

     

    The Senior Program Analyst will apply deep expertise in defense acquisition, EW systems, budget execution, and sustainment planning to drive informed decision-making, improve readiness, and ensure mission success across complex, multi-year programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide senior advisory and analytical support across the full DoD acquisition lifecycle, including R&D, acquisition, sustainment, and in-service support.

    + Support Electronic Warfare and Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) portfolios, ensuring alignment with fleet readiness and operational requirements.

    + Lead program analysis efforts including milestone planning, lifecycle sustainment strategies, cost estimation, affordability analysis, and risk mitigation.

    + Oversee budget formulation and execution for large, complex portfolios; conduct forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-benefit assessments.

    + Develop and deliver executive-level briefings and written products for SES- and Flag-level leadership, translating complex technical and financial data into actionable insights.

    + Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), coordinating across engineering, logistics, contracting, and financial stakeholders.

    + Conduct audits, performance assessments, and compliance reviews in accordance with DoD and NAVAIR policies.

    + Utilize data analytics, performance metrics, and readiness indicators to support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction strategies.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, program management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 20+ years of experience supporting DoD aviation, acquisition, or Electronic Warfare programs.

    + Extensive experience working with NAVAIR programs and/or within a Warfare Center environment (e.g., NSWC).

    + Demonstrated expertise in program management, lifecycle logistics, and budget execution for multi-million-dollar portfolios.

    + Proven ability to brief senior government leadership and serve as a trusted technical and programmatic advisor.

    + Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (required).

    Preferred Qualifications

    + DAWIA Level III – Program Management

    + DAWIA Level III – Life Cycle Logistics

    + Deep familiarity with EW systems and AEA platforms (e.g., EA-18G, ALQ-99, legacy EW systems).

    + Proven success delivering readiness improvements and cost-reduction initiatives across complex aviation portfolios.

    + Advanced proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
