    Job Description

    We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in performing various accounting tasks.

     

    - Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

     

    - Perform data entry for journal entries and other accounting transactions

     

    - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

     

    - File Management: maintain soft and hard files, scanning, filing

     

    - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

     

    - Maintain accurate and organized financial records with tool used by organization: Micro Soft Excel & Spreadsheets, QuickBooks Pro Online.

     

    - Well Organized, Professional

     

    - Familiar with HubSpot

     

    - Familiar with QuickBooks Pro AI funtionalities

     

    - Familiar with using ChapGPT or Perplexity or Claude or similar AI

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Minimum education – Associates Degree

     

    - 3+ years in an accounting function: journal entries, account transactions, month-end and year-end closes

     

    - Solid understanding of corporate accounting principles - Knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply it in daily tasks

     

    - Financial acumen to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends and proficient in using accounting software such as MS Excel, QuickBooks Pro - Familiar with HubSpot

     

    - Familiar with QuickBooks Pro AI funtionalities

     

    - Familiar with using ChapGPT or Perplexity or Claude or similar AI
