    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking highly skilled UT Inspectors onsite in Kings Bay, GA to perform non -destructive ultrasonic testing and inspection on submarine components and systems. The role ensures compliance with stringent safety, quality, and performance standards for naval and underwater vessels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on submarine hulls, welds, and structural components to

     

    detect internal flaws, cracks, or discontinuities.

     

    - Interpret and evaluate UT results in accordance with ASNT, ASTM, and NAVSEA standards.

     

    - Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and

     

    traceability.

     

    - Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and recommend

     

    corrective actions.

     

    - Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained per regulatory requirements.

     

    - Adhere to strict safety protocols and confidentiality standards in a high -security environment.

     

    - Participate in audits and quality reviews as required.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Certification: ASNT Level II or III in Ultrasonic Testing (UT); NAVSEA -approved certifications

     

    preferred.

     

    - Experience: Minimum 3 –5 years in UT inspection, preferably in marine or defense sectors.

     

    - Strong knowledge of NDT methods, welding standards, and submarine structural integrity

     

    requirements.

     

    - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

     

    - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

    - Security Clearance: Must be eligible for or hold an active security clearance (due to defense -

    related work). - Familiarity with NAVSEA Technical Publications and military standards.

     

    - Experience with other NDT methods (MT, PT, RT) is a plus.

     

    - Strong communication and reporting skills.

     

    - OSHA 10 certification

     

    - Confined Space Training
